On March 17, the Redmi 10 will be launched in India – or rather, the Redmi 10 (2022). But according to a new rumor emerging today, the Xiaomi sub-brand is also busy with a very similar device that it will soon bring to other global markets.

It will reportedly be called Redmi 10C, and outside of India it would have an unknown octa-core processor paired with a PowerVR GE8320 GPU. In India, the Redmi 10 is expected to feature the Snapdragon 680 SoC.

That’s the only difference between the two, this rumor claims. The Redmi 10C (and Redmi 10 for India) otherwise has a 6.53-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 720×1600, a 50MP main rear camera with a 2MP depth sensor nearby, and a 5000mAh battery, most likely with 18W charging support.

The Redmi 10C will apparently be priced at around €150-200 when it hits Europe, and it will be available in just one version with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. You can grab one in gray, green, and blue.

Of course, this is just a rumor at this point, so don’t forget to take it with a grain of salt.
