When I look around, I am amazed at how much innovation there is in our world today. Still, I am most excited about the evolution of the smartphone. This one device gave way to new digital industries — for remote work, education, entertainment and fitness — and the ability to capture, explore and interact with anyone with the swipe of a finger.

The smartphone is a portal to infinite progress. And at Samsung, we’ve never taken that for granted.

It’s not enough for mobile innovation to simply evolve with the world. We need to be one step ahead so that our technology can help transform the way we experience everything around us and make our lives easier. That’s why we constantly push ourselves to break the rules of what a smartphone can do.

Breaking the rules to start the next chapter in smartphone history

In 2011, the Galaxy Note brought the convenience and portability of smartphones together with the expanded screen and notepad-like functionality of tablets. Some were shocked by the 5.3-inch screen – then considered huge – but Note created a legacy where a large screen is now the standard. The S Pen also surprised everyone. It enabled people to bridge creativity and productivity – whenever inspiration struck, they could quickly jot down their ideas and thoughts in Samsung Notes.

In 2019 we dared to redefine smartphones. We launched our Galaxy Z Fold series and brought a whole new form factor to the mobile industry. Our advanced folding design changed the way people used their phones. With Flex mode, video calls are hands-free and easier. And multitasking with multiple windows is a breeze too, as your phone will be tablet-sized in the blink of an eye. And again, the industry took notice, with many mobile companies now following in our footsteps to make foldable devices the next big thing.

Innovate by listening and taking note of the consumer

In a sea of equality of smartphones and iterative updates, our ambition remains steadfast: to detect the signals that transformation drives — by listening to your feedback — and continue to deliver mobile experiences that empower us all to evolve.

We know many of you were surprised when Samsung didn’t release a new Galaxy Note last year. You loved the unparalleled creativity and efficiency of the Galaxy Note series, allowing you to switch from gaming nirvana to high-octane productivity in an instant. You raved about the lifelike S Pen, which many believe are rivals that put ink on paper. And we haven’t forgotten about these experiences you love.

Catalyzing the next evolution of Galaxy

For years, Samsung converted the skeptics who thought our ideas were impossible. Whether it’s an oversized screen, a stylus no one knew you needed, or a professional camera that would really take mobile photography out of the dark.

With each new evolution of Samsung Galaxy devices, we have introduced features that redefine the entire mobile category. And we are about to rewrite the rules of the industry again.

At Unpacked in February 2022, we’re introducing you to the most remarkable S-series device we’ve ever made. The next generation Galaxy S is here, bringing together the best experiences of our Samsung Galaxy in one ultimate device.

It puts you in charge of the night — and capture the best, clearest photos and videos you’ve ever taken with a phone. You’ll also dominate the day with power, speed, and tools found nowhere else. You’ll enjoy the very latest innovations made possible by the smartest Galaxy experience yet. And all that while feeling good as part of the most sustainable Galaxy ecosystem. And yes, you are once again helping Samsung rewrite the future of smartphones.

Get ready for the ultimate Ultra experience.
